CNC Preventive Maintenance & Machine Condition Inspection
Professional preventive maintenance and machine condition inspection services from Centurion Precision for CNC machine tools and manufacturing equipment.
Regular preventive maintenance can help identify developing problems, reduce unexpected downtime, maintain machine performance, and extend equipment service life. Centurion Precision provides on-site machine condition inspections and preventive maintenance based on the equipment, operating environment, and requested scope of service.
Depending on the machine and service requirements, preventive maintenance may include visual and operational inspection, lubrication system checks, fluid and coolant system inspection, spindle and axis evaluation, way and guide inspection, belts and accessible drive components, filters, air systems, machine leveling, abnormal noise or vibration checks, general mechanical condition, safety-related observations, and other accessible machine components.
Service Duration & Pricing
Preventive maintenance and machine condition inspection services are subject to a 2-hour minimum at $250 per hour ($500 minimum). Additional technician time is billed at $250 per hour and may be billed in 30-minute increments at $125.
Service duration depends on the machine type, size, complexity, condition, maintenance history, and requested scope. Multiple machines or larger facilities may require additional service time or a custom quote.
Maintenance Recommendations
During service, Centurion Precision may identify wear, maintenance concerns, adjustments, or other conditions that should be addressed. When applicable, recommendations for additional maintenance or corrective work may be provided.
Parts & Consumables
Replacement parts, filters, lubricants, coolant, belts, seals, batteries, materials, specialty tooling, and other consumable or replacement items are not included in the service rate unless specifically stated. Required items may be supplied or quoted separately when applicable.
Repairs & Additional Work
Preventive maintenance is not intended to include major machine repairs or component replacement. Minor adjustments may be performed within the purchased service time when practical. Repairs or additional work identified during the inspection may require additional authorization, labor, parts, or a separate quote.
Travel & Service Location
Travel time is not included in the service rate. Travel time and applicable mileage, parking, tolls, lodging, airfare, or other travel-related expenses may be billed separately depending on the service location. Applicable travel charges will be confirmed prior to scheduling.
Important Service Information
Preventive maintenance and machine condition inspections are based on conditions that can reasonably be observed or evaluated at the time of service. The service does not guarantee against future equipment failure or identify every possible internal, intermittent, electrical, electronic, or hidden condition.
Customers should provide the machine manufacturer, model, serial number, maintenance history, operating hours when available, and any known concerns prior to service.
After purchase, a Centurion Precision representative will review the equipment information and contact you to confirm the service scope, location, and scheduling.
