CNC Machine Setup, Leveling & Commissioning
Professional machine setup, leveling, and commissioning services from Centurion Precision for CNC machine tools and manufacturing equipment.
Whether you're installing a newly purchased machine, relocating existing equipment, or putting used machinery back into service, Centurion Precision can assist with proper machine positioning, leveling, setup, and operational verification.
Depending on the equipment and scope of work, services may include machine positioning verification, precision leveling, leveling-foot adjustment, installation checks, basic mechanical alignment, utility and connection verification, lubrication and fluid checks, axis and spindle function checks, machine startup assistance, operational verification, and general commissioning support.
Service Duration & Pricing
Machine setup, leveling, and commissioning services are subject to a 2-hour minimum at $250 per hour ($500 minimum). Additional technician time is billed at $250 per hour and may be billed in 30-minute increments at $125.
The time required will vary depending on the machine type, size, condition, installation requirements, facility readiness, and scope of work. Larger or more complex installations may require a custom quote.
Site & Machine Requirements
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the machine has been safely delivered and placed in an appropriate installation area unless relocation or rigging services have been separately arranged. Required utilities, electrical service, compressed air, coolant systems, foundation requirements, and other site conditions should be prepared according to the machine manufacturer's requirements prior to service.
Rigging & Electrical Work
Machinery rigging, transportation, crane or forklift services, electrical installation, plumbing, facility modifications, anchoring, and other licensed or specialized trades are not included unless specifically arranged in advance.
Accuracy & Calibration
Standard setup and commissioning may include general operational and leveling checks. Precision geometry verification, calibration, laser measurement, ball-bar testing, CMM verification, or other specialized accuracy testing is not included unless specifically requested and confirmed as part of the service scope.
Travel & Service Location
Travel time is not included in the service rate. Travel time and applicable mileage, parking, tolls, lodging, airfare, or other travel-related expenses may be billed separately depending on the service location. Applicable travel charges will be confirmed prior to scheduling.
Important Service Information
Commissioning services are based on the condition of the equipment and site at the time of service. Additional repairs, replacement parts, materials, specialty tooling, manufacturer support, or corrective work identified during setup may require additional labor or a separate quote.
After purchase, a Centurion Precision representative will review the machine and installation information and contact you to confirm the scope of work, site requirements, and scheduling.
