Our dimensional inspection service helps verify that your components conform to drawing requirements, specified dimensions, tolerances, and applicable inspection criteria.
Depending on the part and scope of work, inspection may include CMM measurement, dimensional verification, geometric feature measurement, tolerance verification, comparative measurement, and other precision inspection methods using appropriate measurement equipment.
Inspection Service & Pricing
CMM and dimensional inspection services start at $195 for the first hour. Additional inspection time is $195 per hour and may be purchased or billed in 30-minute increments at $97.50.
Inspection time may include part setup, inspection planning, measurement, CMM programming when required, data evaluation, and preparation of standard inspection results.
Drawings & Inspection Requirements
Customers should provide an engineering drawing identifying the dimensions, tolerances, and features requiring inspection. CAD models, specifications, inspection requirements, and other relevant documentation should also be provided when available.
Inspection time and pricing may vary depending on part complexity, number of features or dimensions being inspected, tolerance requirements, quantity of parts, fixturing requirements, programming requirements, and requested documentation.
Inspection Documentation
Standard inspection results may be provided when applicable. First Article Inspection (FAI), AS9102 documentation, custom inspection reports, ballooned drawings, capability studies, or other specialized documentation are not included unless specifically requested and confirmed by Centurion Precision.
Parts & Shipping
Customers are responsible for delivering or shipping parts to Centurion Precision unless other arrangements have been made. Return shipping, freight, special packaging, and transportation costs are not included in the inspection service price.
Important Service Information
Purchase of inspection time covers the inspection services performed within the purchased duration and does not guarantee completion of a particular inspection scope within that time. If additional inspection time, specialized equipment, fixturing, programming, outside services, or documentation is required, Centurion Precision will communicate the additional requirements before proceeding when practical.
After purchase, a Centurion Precision representative will review your drawings, parts, and inspection requirements and contact you to confirm the scope of work.
